General Questions:

What is Can-Do Disposal, Inc.?

We are a junk, rubbish and debris disposal service company.  We offer two types of waste removal services, from which you can choose to best fulfill your needs and price range.

Option 1 - Roll-off Container Service:
We deliver a roll-off container to your job site for you to load at your convenience.  When finished, we will retrieve the container and dispose of its contents. This option is typically less expensive per cubic yard of rubbish, since we provide no labor for loading.

If the amount of junk you have is too small to justify a roll-off container:

             Option 2 – Load & Dispose Service:
We will drive our truck and container to your job site, load the rubbish for you, and dispose of
             your unwanted junk & trash.

We provide these services for Residential, Commercial and Industrial customers located within Central Pennsylvania.

What geographic area do you service?
We serve central Pennsylvania.

Are you licensed and insured to do this work?

Yes.  Can-Do Disposal, Inc. is licensed and fully insured to transport municipal and residual waste.  Valid license decals can be found displayed on the front driver side of our trucks.  If necessary, we will gladly have our insurance agency fax you our certificate of insurance.

What do you do with the junk?

It depends on what type of material you have. We try to take burnable items to the local incinerator and non-burnable items to the landfill. We strive to be environmentally conscious and recycle what we can.

What materials require special arrangements for disposal?

Though, we are able to take away most anything non-hazardous, there are some materials that require special disposal arrangements.  Therefore, the following list of materials must be agreed upon in writing by Can-Do Disposal, Inc. prior to our taking possession of such items.  Please see
Terms and Conditions.

Materials we need to know about:
Concrete, asphalt, sand, dirt, rocks, tiles, tree trunks, paint, chemicals, any kind of petroleum products or solvents, any kind of contaminated materials, materials containing asbestos, gas containers (full or empty), any combustible or volatile material, any highly flammable or explosive materials, any biomedical or infectious material, any toxic or hazardous waste, any excrement materials, dead animals, radioactive material, tires or batteries, roofing materials or any appliances containing Freon gas or any other materials characterized as hazardous by the United States Environmental Protection Agency.

Why can't you take hazardous materials?

Our drivers and trucks are not licensed or insured to carry hazardous materials. Although, Can-Do Disposal, Inc. is unable to transport hazardous materials, we will be happy to help you find alternative disposal solutions.

Roll-off Container Service Questions:

What is a roll-off container?

A roll-off container is a large metal box that detaches from our truck and it is left at the job site. This is very convenient for customers who want time to clean-out and choose what they are going to throw away or people doing demolition and renovation projects.

How big are your containers?

Our containers are approximately 12 ft. long by 8 ft. wide by 4 ft. high or roughly 10 cubic yards. They are ideal for any size task, since we can send several containers to complete the job.

Can you place the container wherever I want?
We will make every effort to place the container in the most convenient spot for loading. However, we must consider if the driving surface and subsurface is suitable to bear the weight of our truck, equipment and load.  Also, some municipalities may have ordinances related to roll-off containers.  Please refer to
Terms and Conditions for further details.

How much does your container service cost?

We are very competitive and would like to quote you our price. However, we need some information from you first.

Our service charge is based on the following:

·          Travel distance to and from your job site

·          Disposal fees imposed on us by your local waste management authority

·          Special items that may require addition disposal fees, such as tires, appliances, etc.

·          Gross weight of the disposal material

You see that without speaking to you first we would have to price our service to include highest of these variables.  We would rather quote you a fair price related specifically to your job.

When and how do I book container?

·          Customer billing information

·          Job site address

How much will it cost?
Without actually seeing your rubbish, it’s difficult to give you a firm price over the phone.  Although, we are happy to discuss the details of the job and review our price guide, we can only give you our firm no-obligation price upon arrival at the job site. Our price guide has been developed to help give you a ballpark figure based on how we charge. Click here for Can-Do Load & Dispose Service price guide.

How big are your trucks?

Our truck containers can hold roughly 10 cubic yards of material. They are ideal for any size task, since we can send several containers to your job site allowing our loading team to complete your job without delay.  Heavy materials such as dirt, concrete, stone, etc. may be limited in volume due to weight allowances.  Click here to see truck and container sizes.

What tools and equipment come with your truck?

Depending on your job description the truck will come equipped with the tools necessary to complete the job. We cannot carry every tool to every job so please help us by giving detailed descriptions of your job and recommending any tools you think we may need.  We do not carry ladders or operate machinery. Sometimes we employ the services of a Skid Loader or Forklift with an operator for an additional fee if the job requires, however this must be arranged in advance.

Can you do the job for me if I am not on site?

We prefer that our customer or a representative is on site when our truck arrives. We will gladly call 15 to 30 minutes before arrival to let you know we are on the way. If there is just no feasible way for someone to meet us on site, we can discuss some possible alternatives by phone prior to scheduling the job.

I really need this job done but it can only be after normal hours. Can you do that?

Contact us and we'll be happy to discuss your options. We will do our best to provide our service at your convenience.
